Simmering granules come in tubs weighing roughly 50g.They are similar to wax melts but easier to discard once the scent has gone. You simply put a teaspoon or two of the granules in the well of your burner and light a tealight underneath/turn on your electric burner. When you can no longer smell the scent you just tip them into the household waste, wipe out your burner and put in new granules.
